Data we process
VIDNA processes account data such as email and date of birth, profile information, preferences, chat content, reports and blocks, and location data when visibility and radar are used.
Location
Precise location is processed to calculate proximity between visible users. Exact coordinates are not displayed on Radar. If a user explicitly sends a location in chat, the exact coordinates are shared with that chat recipient.
Use of data
Data is used to provide authentication, profiles, radar and encounters, connections, chat, notifications, Premium features, abuse prevention, and service security.
Advertising
FREE accounts may receive advertising. Premium accounts do not receive ads. Advertising providers may process device or advertising identifiers under their own policies and device settings.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained while needed to operate and protect the service. Users can delete their account from Settings. Successful account deletion removes the account and records linked through the application database relationships.
User controls
Users can control discoverability, approximate distance, online status, notifications, blocked users, and other privacy preferences.
